PLASTIC FREE PLACES
MORNINGTON PENINSULA
A partnership between Boomerang Alliance, Waste Wise Peninsula and Mornington Peninsula Shire Council.
Completed in August 2024, this successful program helped Mornington Peninsula's hospitality sector embrace the state's single-use plastic ban and switch to sustainable options.

The Peninsula is now ready to lead the national reuse movement, starting with reusable cups and containers.

Thank you to our partners and member venues for driving positive change and making this program a success.
